Founder of Forship Group, he has more than 40 years of experience in engineering and undertakings. Naval Engineer, from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 1978, with Postgraduate Studies in Computing Systems Engineering from the Instituto Alberto Luiz Coimbra for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering - Latin America's largest center for research and education in engineering (COPPE-UFRJ). He began his career at Lloyd Brasileiro in 1976, working in shipyards and at the engineering directorate of the Marinha do Brasil (MB).
Claudia Barroso has been working at Forship since 2007 and is responsible for managing Controllership, Accounting, Financial, Administrative and Human Resources. Claudia holds a diploma in Business Administration from Universidade Cândido Mendes and has over 20 years experience working in different strategic positions, such as Managing Director at Gestetner do Brasil S/A, Product Manager at Presta Administradora de Cartões de Crédito S/A, and Import Supervisor at Brasif Electronics S/A.
Electrical engineer graduated from the Catholic University of Petrópolis (UCP) in 1983, he is professional with 35 years of experience in Industry, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas and Mining sectors. He has worked with project, construction, maintenance and commissioning activities in several ventures, with emphasis on electrical engineering and telecommunications. Today, as Operations Director of the Forship group, he is responsible for maintenance, operation and commissioning projects and contracts.
Master in Business Administration, from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), with Bachelor's Degree in Data Processing, Postgraduate Studies in Corporate Finances, from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC), and MBA in Telecommunications Management, from FGV. He has 17 years of experience in IT. At Forship Group, he worked as IT Manager from January 2003 to 2011, and since 2007 he is the Executive Director of HMSWeb, the technology company of Forship Group which is responsible for developing IT solutions for management and control of engineering projects.
